Fashion or Halloween?

Happy Halloween everybody!

Hope today is full of scary surprises and for those who have no idea who to be tonight I have some ideas. How to use the same shirt for 3 very different costumes was not a challenge and I think I executed it perfectly.

For the first look I am Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange a very spooky movie from the 70’s based on Anthony Burgess’ novella.

I am wearing a white dress shirt from Calvin Klein, white denim from Just Cavalli and my 3.1 Phillip Lim black booties. To accessorize and complete my costume a top hat from Urban Outfitters, white suspenders from American Apparel, a cane and eyelashes that I purchased at Rickey’s.

Second look was even easier here I am Joel Goodsen interpreted by Tom Cruise in the move Risky Business from the 80’s. A romantic American comedy that launched Tom Cruise’s carrier with the scene of him dancing and performing in his underwear.

Here literality I just dropped my pants wearing the white shirt, white boxer briefs from Calvin Klein and white socks from American Apparel adding the iconic Ray Ban wayfarers.

Last but not least I decided to play nice and be a mouse but not just any typical mouse. Here I am the classic Mickey Mouse first introduced on November 18, 1928 by Walt Disney.

I am wearing mouse ears that I got from Rickey’s the same white shit, red denim from Levi’s, yellow suspenders from American Apparel, a black blazer from Rag & Bone, black patent leather dress shoes from Dior and changed the color of the bowtie to black giving the costume a more elegant Mickey Mouse.

So for those who say dressing up or in my case down for Halloween is tortuous now you have no excuse because all you need is to your imagination to transform fashion into a costume.

The Bowery

“No street defines Manhattan’s Lower East Side like the Bowery” I am usually spotted in the LES so nothing gives me more thrill then to wear my amazing “Everyone has a story. Wanna be part of mine?” tshirt by Bowery Supply Co. As I walked through Bowery Street I could see how this brand gets the inspiration to create such wonderful tees involving New York as a character and giving credit to such wonderful street. I paired my tee with ripped jeans from TOPMAN and accessorize it with my leather jacket wrapped around my waist from Versace, in my Chanel boy bag a Fendi bag bug was the perfect pop of color my outfit needed. It was essential to keep my feet simple so I paired the look with my 3.1 Phillip Lim booties and a black hat to match my black wayfarer sunnies from Ray Ban giving my look a total street style vibe that went cohesive with everything Bowery Supply stands for.

All Black Sunday

Despite Manhattans´ weather mood swings today was a very pleasant day. The sun was shining but a cool breeze moved my locks out of place (jajaaj) for today’s look I went all black, wearing my Zara black t shirt paired with black trousers from Helmut Lang. To accessorize and give it a more relax vibe to an all black look I paired it up with my white Keds and a furry clutch from 3.1 Phillip Lim. What to make the look more formal? Change the shoes for black dress shoes and either add a blazer or a leather jacket and voila!!

You can change the whole look of you outfit just by accessorizing the right way.

GRR…

After spotting the man bun all over #MBFW I decided to give it a try. Holding my hair in bun was the start to the whole outfit; wear my black unfitted size Givenchy dog tshirt with a pair of black ripped jeans from H&M was the perfect kick ass look. To accessorize my mirrored yellow aviators from Nordstrom and my Camper Together X Bernhard Willhelm sandals wear the perfect pop of color this black rock and roll look needed. My black Celine phantom bag was the essential piece and not for the reasons you think (jajaja) though I am obsessed with it the bag is the perfect size for this intense week. After all you might need a change of outfit!

M Stands for Missoni

Today’s weather was perfect for my Missoni mid length jacket, adding green lines to an orange fall was a perfect fit. For a Sunday look I kept it simple and comfortable trying a modern school boy look by adding my Fucking Young studded baseball cap, my 3.1 Phillip Lim tennis shoes, and just to spike it up my minaudiere Valentino clutch.

Grey Leather

Having a leather jacket is an essential piece to any wardrobe but playing around with different colors of leather can be a great form to upgrade your look. Paring my Armani grey leather jacket with a Calvin Klein turtleneck like black sweater with some Zara denim and Cavali black slip-ons gives you an everyday “formal.

#MBFW Day 1

Getting ready for Fashion Week can be hazard, but you can never go wrong with a statement trench. My Valentino stripped with leather trench was a great way to start the week of course I accessorized it with my Valentino Rock Stud oxfords, a black chunky scarf from Zara, and my 3.1 Phillip Lim mini pashli mixing tones of gray, black and navy simply adds class and elegance to a look.
