New York City can be tough but it is a wonderful place to be. The only way to actually get to know the city is by walking everywhere. Yes public transportation is key to such a dynamic city but with a nice day out and comfy shoes all I want to do is walk.
Kenneth Cole recently launched it’s “Techni-Cole” collection. The Pod, in this case, has an amazing technology that helps keep the foot cool when its hot and warm when its cold- perfect for those Spring days where we don’t know how to dress appropriately for the weather. It has a comfort gel pod that eliminates the heel pressure for a pain-free wear (Literally walked over the bridge in these) they are extremely comfortable and very stylish. The technology also counts with a high density foam that helps distribute the weight, adds cushioning and performance. Making it a multifaceted shoe that can help you on your everyday tasks in such chaotic city. The impact pods-found in one of the many layers of this magnificent shoe- absorbs shock and pressure at each step of your day making this cognac Oxford the perfect daily companion to help me get around the city in style and comfort. After a long day of meetings, showrooms and events I am happy to walk back home to Brooklyn and simply chill on my rooftop. #Ad #WhatMovesYou
TGIS and today’s weather is perfect for a pair of linen pants. Summer is coming to an end so it’s time to use all your summer outfits one last time. For today’s post I am wearing a tribal print linen pants from Zara that I actually bought last summer. I am mixing prints by accessorizing with my camouflage strappy sandals from Aldo my loyal companions through summer and even though they seem to clash the sand tone of the pants go perfectly with the dark orange army print. To keep it casual and with no more prints a black deep v neck long sleeve tshirt from H&M is the perfect combination to form a summer outfit. My phantom Céline bag just in case you need to put all your summer junk in and my black Wayfarer aviators from Ray Ban giving a relax and fresh vibe to my look.
Getting a little nostalgic because summer is about to end and with no doubt Manhattan’s weather is about to change. Taking advantage that the sun was shining bright I went roaming around the wonderful streets of SoHo, window shopping actually has become one of my favorite hobbies. While browsing I realize how much my look of the day and the cobblestone streets reminded me of Italy. Today I am wearing my H&M blue striped linen t-shirt and paired it with my navy blue Ted Baker shorts. To accessorize my summer straw hat from Paul Smith, mirrored blue sunnies from Nordstrom, black and blue clutch from C Wonder and last but not least for my feet my Camper Together X Bernhard Willhelm multicolored sandal giving the look the right amount of pop!
After days of amazing weather Manhattan cried a little last night. Woke up even worse today and gave us a gloomy day. Between an irritable wind and an annoying rain I had to use my skills to provide myself with protection from water and if it got colder I had the right attire. Using my navy blue Burberry trench coat was the right amount of protection because it is Spring and New York is not that cold any more (so happy) but rain is rain. The right accessory to warm me up if anything happens is my Fendi wool scarf that can also be worn as a small blanket around the body. Continuing with the hues of navy my Topman pants and the navy Chanel boyfriend bag where the right combination with my brown Too Boot New York shoes from Bloomingdales.
