After spending most of my time in New York City I felt it was about time to explore the Mexican version of a cosmopolitan city. I recently (okay like a month ago) visited Mexico City a magical place that did remind me of NYC. I stayed at my cousin’s apartment in La Condesa, streets full of artists and models and shops and restaurants kind of reminded me of SoHo. The food was as always amazing I am sorry but Mexican cuisine is quite delicious and of course with no doubt Mexico City houses many of the best restaurants recognized worldwide. Did a little damage to my credit card and went shopping to Mazaryk and it kind of looks like a mini 5th Ave. Louis Vuitton in a corner Cartier in the other and of course where I ended up shopping was at Zara which was right next to Massimo Dutti (see it does look like 5th). Unfortunately there are almost no walking between districts due to the fact that Mexico isn’t an island, which kind of sucked because I am used to walking everywhere but on the bright side uber was way cheaper then Manhattan so I always had a ride. After all even though I am Mexican and it did felt good to be “home” New York has everything I’ve ever wanted so for as long as I can handle it I will continue to call New York my home.
