I know it’s been a while since the movie Jurassic World came out, but I must confess, I’ve always been a huge fan of the Jurassic movies. Therefore, this look was inspired by Chris Pratt’s character’s wardrobe. Today I am wearing Forever21 denim shorts, paired with a simple grey v-neck from Old Navy, and I am accessorizing them with a denim vest from ZARA, and my brown leather cowboy meets safari hat from Goorin Bros. In this outfit, I feel like I can run away from a Velociraptor, and still have my fashion game on point (lol). Besides, my Birkenstock sandals strap around the back of my heels, so I think I could handle it. Although, I would need a place to carry an essential survival kit, and what better way than to pack it all up in my Chanel graffiti backpack. Of course, I couldn’t bear to leave little Fendi #karlito behind. And since his pink punk hair meshes perfectly with my backpack, it’s like a match made in fashion heaven! So basically, the moral of the look is, no matter what situation you are in, I think it’s always a good idea to look the part for your next adventure.

Crop it up
So its official the #AlexanderwangxHM collection is sold out but I was lucky to snitch a couple of pieces that obviously amazed us all. Here I am wearing the black scuba neoprene crop top with a white Calvin Klein dress shirt underneath. Ripped black jeans (by me) from Joe Fresh where the perfect match making the look very grunge and relaxed. My high rise sneakers from Sandro made the perfect statement of making the whole outfit out of black and white pieces. To accessorize a black coat that came in handy if the weather of Manhattan decided to change on us again, a camel felt hat for The Hatter Company and a 3.1 Phillip Lim colorful fur clutch. Emphasizing on making the hat and clutch stand out from the achromatic color scheme of the outfit worked pretty good, balanced and gave a little pop to the look.
Wild Wild East Coast
Getting prep for #MBFW is not an easy task, people have this misconception that one just wakes up in the morning and looks pretty. Well confession it’s completely the opposite and when it comes to put together your looks OMG chaotic. Luckily one day I was roaming around my neighborhood in the East Village and came across with this magnificent poncho from Rannoch Designs. Since I lay eyes on it I knew it would be a great statement for Fashion Week so I paired it up with a simple white tee from Zara and ripped jeans from TopMan. To accessorize I went for comfort with my Nike 2.0 runner shoes, on my head my Zadig & Voltaire black straw hat and my Chloé leather aviators giving the look a more street everyday wear to the poncho. To complement the outfit my Chanel boy bag was the perfect piece missing the contrast the mohair made with the chains was exquisite reminding me of Chanel’s last collection that had a touch of the Wild West.
#VenetoMBFW
So #MBFW (Mercedes Benz Fashion Week) started today at Lincoln Center and it was amazing. The adrenaline you get from attending one show and run to the other yet looking glamorous as possible is hard work, bet hey someone’s got a do it. This season I got the opportunity to collaborate with EFM (Engineered for Motion) and the name says it all. EFM is a durable and efficient piece of garment that not only looks good but performs your daily tasks very efficiently in a city as hazardous as New York. So what could be more hazardous than Fashion Week, people running from show to show, thinking what to wear for ten hours then change your mind last minute (Oh wait maybe that’s only me jajajaa..) the point is that today I was ready to take the fashion world by storm with this perfect teal and blue long sleeve and shorts assumable both from EFM. Since the weather is still pretty warm here in NYC there is no point in boiling yourself with a jacket only because you know its Fall. To accessorize I wore my Camper Together X Bernhard Willhelm multi colored sandal, with a transparent plastic clutch and my brown leather Chloé aviators making the perfect match for the first day at the tents.
Print Mixing
TGIS and today’s weather is perfect for a pair of linen pants. Summer is coming to an end so it’s time to use all your summer outfits one last time. For today’s post I am wearing a tribal print linen pants from Zara that I actually bought last summer. I am mixing prints by accessorizing with my camouflage strappy sandals from Aldo my loyal companions through summer and even though they seem to clash the sand tone of the pants go perfectly with the dark orange army print. To keep it casual and with no more prints a black deep v neck long sleeve tshirt from H&M is the perfect combination to form a summer outfit. My phantom Céline bag just in case you need to put all your summer junk in and my black Wayfarer aviators from Ray Ban giving a relax and fresh vibe to my look.
Short shorts
Summer is ending and the cool air will break in. Take advantage and show that tan you got from chilling in Central Park jajaja looks like no beach for me this summer. For this look I used a white pair of short shorts that belonged to my father back in the 80´s and due to the fact we are now living in 2014 the 80´s seem far enough so let’s call my shorts a pair of vintage shorts. I parried my vintage shorts with an oversized BCBGMAXAZRIA button down brown with baby blue stripes, to accessorize my mirrored aviators from Nordstrom and my strappy camouflage sandals from Aldo giving the look a total summer vibe keeping it fresh and balanced.
TIP: Putting on an oversized garment on top of the short fitted piece will always create a balance seeming as if the short shorts weren’t to revealing.
Summer Blues
Getting a little nostalgic because summer is about to end and with no doubt Manhattan’s weather is about to change. Taking advantage that the sun was shining bright I went roaming around the wonderful streets of SoHo, window shopping actually has become one of my favorite hobbies. While browsing I realize how much my look of the day and the cobblestone streets reminded me of Italy. Today I am wearing my H&M blue striped linen t-shirt and paired it with my navy blue Ted Baker shorts. To accessorize my summer straw hat from Paul Smith, mirrored blue sunnies from Nordstrom, black and blue clutch from C Wonder and last but not least for my feet my Camper Together X Bernhard Willhelm multicolored sandal giving the look the right amount of pop!

Lucky Stripes
Summer is taking Manhattan by storm and what better way to show off your summer glow then with shorts and stripes. For today’s look I am wearing a striped shirt from H&M, the deep v neck detail and oversize fit gives it a more summer vibe and of course if you pair it up with some Original Penguin cream shorts summer can be endless. To accessorize and continue in the summer look a pink Hermes Birkin bag is perfect to put all your summer essentials, black aviators to give it a stronger statement and in your feet you can pair the look with some white kicks from Keds or even a very nice sandal depends on the activities you will be doing along the hot sunny day. Remember always wear your nautical stripes to remind us that you can have a little summer day even in the city.
Heat in the Meatpacking
We asked for it New York! After what it seemed an eternal winter, summer is finally in town and boy it’s heating up. Everyone is running to The Hamptons but the final few that stay have to battle the hot sticky weather and there is a way of doing it with style. For today’s warm look I used my Marni by H&M swim shorts as formal shorts and paired them with a blue tank top from H&M, to cover the fact that I was boiling inside out a linen white blazer from Alexander Wang just to give it a more formal look. Pairing the whole ensemble with white tennis shoes from Keds was the perfect match making the outfit look fun and fresh. To accessorize a summer look add two necklaces together giving a beach vibe, your Céline Phantom bag and of course your mirrored aviators from Nordstrom are a must this summer.
Denim Fever
Once upon a time denim on denim was not such a good idea but today we are going all in. Finding a denim shirt with some details was the perfect contrast between two dark indigo hues pairing up my H&M denim shirt with my Joe Fresh jeans were the perfect match. To add a little color my dark camel brown belt from Ralph Lauren and my Astor Too Boot New York double monk strap shoes, mixing indigo with dark brown will always make a statement. To continue on the dark brown tones my Chloé aviators with leather details and my Louis Vuitton Damier canvas clutch were the perfect ensemble for a very fresh yet casual formal assembly.
